Strongarms are monkeylike enemies in Spyro the Dragon that appeared only in the Tree Tops and Metalhead realms. As evidenced in their name, they have long arms and they can be defeated by Spyro's fire. They are associated with the Banana Boys.
Strongarms attack Spyro by kicking him if he's close to them. In the realm Metalhead, they throw their Banana Boys at Spyro. When during the battle with Metalhead, it throws Strongarms at Spyro and can be used to destroy the pylons which power Metalhead.
- In the original 1998 game, the Strongarms resembled tribesmen, however in a modern world of 2018 (in which such could potentially be seen as offensive), they were redesigned to closely resemble monkeys in Spyro Reignited Trilogy. It is not known whether this was the original vision for the characters or not. Although that could be a likely case as their grunts could be similar to a monkey's.
