History
Few people know of the origin of Skystones. It was invented by a lazy group of Molekin workers. They were hired to put tiles down on a floor, but they quickly got bored of this job and tried to make a game out of it. That game became Skystones, and these Molekin became very rich. All for being lazy![1]
Gameplay
You are explained and given a starter deck from Fangs in the House of Cards, you have to beat him to begin playing the game throughout Skylands. During the game beating specific opponents will give you specific stones to collect and improve your deck, plus money.
Players take turns playing stones on the board, when the board is full, the player with the most stones wins. The other player places a stone first. More blades along an edge of your stone means you can take the other player's stone. Some boards have block squares, and you can't place stones on a block square.
An Elemental Square are squares that hold different elements. If you put a stone of a different element on this square, your stone will break and form a block.
You are allowed to change the skystones in your hand before a match begins but you are always only able to use 5 per match.
Certain cards contain an Element throughout Skylands.
