The Professor (きょうじゅ in Japanese) is another main character in Spyro 2. This ingenious mole is the uncle of Blink the Mole, Spyro's colleague and companion. The Professor had a fairly large role in Spyro 3 after Agent 9 was freed by Spyro. In Spyro 2 he was the one who created the Super Portal which sends Spyro to Avalar and later sends Spyro to Dragon Shores.
In Spyro 3, he gave Agent 9 some training and later told Spyro that he tried to get to the Dragon Realms using a coordinate book to which Spyro responds by telling him the book is out of date by a thousand years.
