Light Gems are collectible items that are like Dark Gems, except it does the exact opposite. Instead of sucking out life, it creates life. There are a total of 100 Light Gems to collect in Spyro: A Hero's Tail. You will need to collect eight in order to go to the Dragonfly Falls, 24 to complete the Sunken Ruins (even though there is a way to complete that Realm) and 40 to complete Ice Citadel.
