The Skylanders who are associated with the element of Life use abilities that create other living things, such as plants or living dummies, to use to their advantage. They are strong against Water, but are weak against Undead characters in the Battle Arena. The color for this element is green.
When opening a Life Gate, the Life Skylander makes a giant vine grow to form a bridge. When in toy form, Life-based Skylanders stand on a pedestal that resembles a pile of leaves.
In Giants, vines act as gates to Life elemental zones.
While the Undead and the Air elements have two female Skylanders, the Life element is the only element with only one Skylander who is female in Spyro's Adventure.
With the exception of Zook, all the original Life Skylanders' Soul Gem powers give them the ability to regain health. With the addition of Shroomboom and Tree Rex, only half of the Life Skylanders' Soul Gem powers give them passive health regeneration.
With the exception of Stealth Elf and Stink Bomb, all of the Life Skylanders are composed of plants. Ironically, they are both ninjas.
