Spring Chests are a unique type of gem-holding containers appearing in Spyro the Dragon and in the Reignited Trilogy remaster of the first game. At the top of each of these colored chests is a gem of a corresponding color. Flame or charge the chest to send the gem flying into the air, then jump to catch the gem before it goes back onto the chests.

- Only one spring chest for the red gem exists in the whole game. It can be found in Lofty Castle.
- Only two spring chests for the Magenta gem exist in the whole game. One can be found in Magic Crafters, while the other can be found in Tree Tops.
