Gnorc Archers are green, rather small Gnorcs that appeared in Spyro: A Hero's Tail. They are lethal but less frequent Gnorcs who are able to shoot Spyro from a distance with their crossbow. Only one to four at most are seen in each world. However, as Robognorcs, they are the most frequent Gnorc and far stronger.
In Hunter's section of Dragonfly Falls, the gnorcs in this area are yet larger than Spyro whereas being the only area to have these in place. That can only be defeated either by Hunter's bow or Spyro's breath bombs.
In Red's Laboratory, it shows Gnorc Archers being processed through a machine which transforms them into Small Robognorcs, a type of superior soldier.
