The Golems of the Deep are a race of creatures in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. They are the embodiment of destruction used to bring about the Great Cleansing: the end of the world. The Dark Master Malefor claimed that the true nature of the purple dragon breed is to reawaken the Golems of the Deep and the Destroyer to initiate such an event.
Only one known Golem of the Deep was summoned by Malefor in Dawn of the Dragon.

- In the Nintendo DS version of Dawn of the Dragon, other Golems made a brief cameo as Malefor tells Spyro of 'the duty of the purple dragons'.
- The Ice Golem shown in the DS screenshot resembles the Ice Titan Hydros from Hercules while another resembles Torizos from Metroids.
