On this video, it revealed that before Tree Rex was made, the first Giant made was something that looked like an Arkeyan but they scrapped it. We don't know if it's a prototype of a today's skylander.

Yep, I'm currently into Skylanders, and am spriting Trigger Happy, hoping to make a MUGEN character out of him. Obviously these are not the only sprites, just a few. I know that the Spyro Wiki is a reliable source of everything Spyro/Skylanders, but most of the information come from somewhere else besides just only here.

While the Spyro Wiki was created to provide information on the Spyro and Skylander franchises, it's not the only place for you guys to look for info, and they're not 100% reliable since anyone has the ability to edit the pages and put in false information at any time (which the admins are trying to clean up). New users on the Wikia can make up crazy, wild claims about the Skylanders and post nonsense on the articles that aren't true, some new users don't even know what they're doing on wikis and unintentionally ruin the articles.

I've noticed one of my fan arts which was only made for my own wikia userpage was removed due to minor users thinking it belonged to the officials which is not. I would never submit fan art to official pages, I would just use them for my own userpage. I was also asked to use Photobucket to submit a fan image into my userpage only, but I have no idea how to display a photobucket image on a Wikia. Can anyone teach me how to display a photobucket image on a wikia without directly submitting it on wikia? Otherwise it's just gonna make clueless users think my fan art is part of the officials.

We've been getting a few complaints about the redirecting of the Alt. Deco Skylanders to their regular counterparts.

We all know that Alt. Deco Skylanders are just recolors of the Skylanders with different stats and names, but have the same backstories and catchphrases as their normal counterparts. Only one known Alt. Deco Skylander, Dark Spyro, actually stands out due to having his own backstory and catchphrase than his normal counterpart, Spyro, and also notable for having a Legend of Spyro counterpart on the Spyro Wiki.  The Legendary Skylanders all share the same backstory of the Legendary status and have different stats, but have the same catchphrases as their normal counterparts.

I think it's much easier to keep the Alt. Deco Skylander…

Ok, so we all know that Stealth Elf is confirmed to be a Series 3. But, what about the others? Wouldn't it be kinda fun to imagine which Skylanders would become the Series 3 and the new lightcores? Ok, so I did some math and I came up with a big number. In Skylanders Adventures, there were 4 Skylanders per element, then Giants had 6 per element. Now, if you add the next Skylander figures with the old ones, you get 17 figures per element. So there are 17 Skylanders in each element which means there are 136 Skylander figures total....BUT if you add the combinations of the SWAP Force which is 256 combinations, you get 392 Skylander figures total. WOW, that's alot, and I think that is a new record in playable characters. lol

I am once more pushing/requesting that we modernize Spyro wiki, by adding the latest forum and message wall technology. Let me list some of the Pros and Cons of Message Walls. I'm not, however, pushing for article comments.

• Easy to follow. You are notified any time someone replies to a message, anywhere any time, unlike the current system where you must check their message walls to see if they replied, being notified only if they post on your wall.
• Protection. Only admins and you can edit your wall posts.

Firstly, do not go uploading random photos from whatever site you can find. Instead, only do trusted and highly official sources, such as Business Wire or Forbes.

Second, names of fusion charcters in normal form goes like [First part of name] [Second part of name], whereas new core characters are the same as always. Names of fused characters appear to go like [Upper Half] [Lower Half].

As you may noticed, Wikia has a new alliances feature. Should we sign Spyro wiki up, and if so, which alliance(s)?

I beat Skylanders Giants on hard and

a. the Skylanders did not talk in the cutscenes

b. Freebots might have been mentioned, but they certainly were not in-game, unless I missed one. Unless you count the weapon masters.

So where did this information come from? Or did i just miss both things. I migth've somehow missed freebots, but not Skylanders talking in cutscenes.

After you beat chapter 7, Wilikin village, the Wilikin girl will be on the ship deck, right? Well, somebody else joined the Dread-Yacht's crew, Fitz or that other Wilikin baby. It will appear in a different room every chapter. Don't beleive me? Replay the game, and after you beat Wilikin village, go into the large circular room that leads to the Gameroom and the Crow's Nest. You'll find it there.

Just got Skylanders Giants. I've only done the first 3 or 4 levels, but I have been impressed. I put the difficulty on hard to make it last longer, and even with 3 giants and 4 new characters (2 of them series 1 guys I got on sale), once or twice I had to dip into my emergency reserve of Spyro's Adventure characters. I also must say, Sprocket's figure pleasantly surprised me. Instead of being a plastic and dull figure like the official photos show, my version was actually chrome-ified, making it look more like she had battle armor, and there were some nice little details on her suit (may upload pics soon).

What I liked: Bigger and Better Levels

Ok, so this may seem a little weird, but I have noticed some significant similarities in some of the new Skylanders, like Hot Dog and Eruptor. See, if you noticed, Shroom Boom has gloves that are red with yellow spikes. It looks exactly like Tree Rex's right arm. Then there's Fright Rider: He and Hex are both elves that became Undead. Pop Fizz is a gremlin, just like Trigger Happy, and Jet Vac somewhat uses the same fighting techniques as Gill Grunt (i.e. the blaster). Chill has the ability of ice as well as Slam Bam. Flashwing is a crystal being just like Prism Break. Last but not least, Sprocket. She was difficult to figure out because she only shares a single attack with Boomer, like Chill and Slam Bam. For the past couple weeks, I have been going to Target to get Giants, but every time I go, I feel like a tightwad and decide that I don't want to spend money. My main question is: is it worth it getting Giants? If I do, I am getting the starter pack for Jet-Vac and the series 2 Cynder, it is only ten bucks extra, so plus those two, that would be great. Ok, if you look at the box of a Lightcore figure that's original figure was in SSA, it says that it won't work on SSA, only SG. However, according to the offificial website (scrolldown a bit):

So I guess Reposed LightCores will work in SSA, just without the LightCore bonus ability (also, as is easily guessed, Sereis 2 will not have Wow-Pows in SSA).

Having learned this, my mind has been settled and I bought LightCore Prism Break.

Does anyone know why Toys R Us took down Hot Head from their website and possibly stores? I was going to wait for a sale and buy him, but now he's not even there whatsoever on the website. Anyone know why? Was he found to be offensive to some people, or have some bad chemicals in the paint or something? So far, Gamestop and Walmart still have him, though out of stock (Amazon also has him but for $30 dollars!). So anyone know why? Or just a glitch?

This rumor was created by an anonymous user, mostly known as Cameron Rogers, who is well-known for spreading 'future Spyro games' rumors in the past. He was the one who created the Otipro Corporation Twitter account (with the Otipro Games website not even made), a fan-made website for his company, and a account on blogspot.

The only other website about the Otipro info is on the Obscure Wikia in which Cameron is active on, and he is also the one who made the Otipro Corporation page articles on some other Wikias.

Simply take a high-quality picture of the Skylander's upgrades from a recorder/camera and upload the images to the links inside their respective upgrades. Low-quality, and blurry quality pictures aren't allowed. And no, we're not hating on DarkSpyro or anything.
