Warriors, also known as Big Gnorcs, are enemies that can be found in Dark Hollow. They wield a big chicken leg to attack Spyro with as their club, but its range is shorter than Spyro's flame. Charging them is ineffective, since they are so large.
There are also two special varieties of Warriors: Gnorc Sentries and Balloonist Gnorcs.
In addition, a few "Big Gnorcs" survive the events of Spyro the Dragon and turn good, running the Dragon Shores theme park. One is named Gniles another named Gnick. (The "G"s in their names are silent, just like "Gnasty" and "Gnorc".)
Tactics

Since this is a large enemy, charging will not affect them. Getting too close and being too slow will get you flattened by their giant meat club. The best way to beat these is to just flame them before they can react to you.
They will eat their clubs every few moments if you are not in their range.
