The Balloonists are people who help Spyro get to the other parts of the Dragon Kingdom who only appeared in Spyro the Dragon. The Balloonists take control of their own hot air balloon and will let Spyro travel to any Homeworld he has been to before using this Balloon, or to a new Homeworld after performing some sort of task in either rescuing the Dragons, the Gems or the stolen Dragon Eggs. There is one balloonist in every Homeworld in Spyro the Dragon.

In order to access the ballonist's balloon, you must first complete the challenge that they give to you:

• Marco the Ballonist is located in the Artisan homeworld. You can access his balloon once you have freed 10 dragons.

• Gosnold the Balloonist is located in the Peace Keeper homeworld. To access his balloon, you must have collected at least 1200 treasure.

• Tuco the Balloonist is located in the Magic Crafters world. You must have collected 5 dragon eggs before using his balloon.

• Cray the Balloonist is located in the Beast Makers world. To access his balloon, you must have freed 50 dragons.

• Amos the Balloonist is located in the Dream Weavers world. To use his balloon, you must have collected 6000 stolen treasure.

• Hak the Balloonist is located in Gnasty's World. Since this is the last homeworld, you don't need to do anything to access his balloon. If you still need to fulfill the 100% mark by collecting all treasure, rescuing dragons, and recover dragon needs, you need to ask him to fly to one of the other five homeworlds.

• Although they were said to be Gnorcs, they are actually afraid of them. This, along with their peach skin hints that they are actually Caucasian humans. No female counterpart has ever been seen however.
